Sex Offenders and Safeguarding Policy
To protect the safety and wellbeing of our guests, visitors, staff and the wider community, we reserve the right to refuse, cancel or terminate any booking where any member of the booking party:
- Is or has been subject to notification requirements under the Sexual Offences Act 2003 (commonly referred to as being on the Sex Offenders Register), or any successor legislation;
- Is or has been included on the Violent and Sex Offenders Register (ViSOR) or any equivalent or replacement register;
- Is subject to, or has previously been subject to, a Sexual Risk Order, Sexual Harm Prevention Order, Child Abduction Warning Notice, Child Abduction Prevention Order, or any similar order, restriction, notification requirement or safeguarding measure;
- Is the subject of any ongoing investigation, court proceedings, licence conditions or other restrictions relating to sexual offences, offences against children, or other offences which, in our reasonable opinion, may present a safeguarding risk to guests, visitors or staff.
By making a booking, the lead booker warrants and confirms that no person within the booking party falls within any of the categories set out above.
We reserve the right to make reasonable enquiries and to cancel or terminate a booking immediately, without notice, if we reasonably believe that any member of the booking party falls within the scope of this policy or that their presence on site presents a safeguarding risk.
Where a booking is cancelled or terminated under this clause, no refund shall be payable and our standard cancellation terms shall apply. Any person required to leave the site under this policy must do so immediately upon request.
