Description & Location
This is our most desired non-electric wild camping pitch.
This pitch has a private water frontage at the entrance of our watercourse which is lined with trees. It’s only a stone’s throw from the jetty and launching area into the main river which is ideal for campers that have their own kayaks, canoes and paddleboards. As well as a moments stroll to the wood-fired floating sauna.
This area is tucked behind long grass to make it more private from other guests using the picnic, jetty and boat launching area but has its own private grass path to this shared area.
This is a large area suitable for quiet camping groups of up to 5 units. Please see pitch notes below.
Please be aware of Our Expectations, we are a site for relaxation and use of the river, we are not for parties wanting to get inebriated and be raucous - such parties will be asked to leave.
This is the final pitch you come to on-site. The facilities are roughly a 5 minute walk from here.

Pitch Notes
Your vehicle must also fit on your pitch with your unit. During the months of October to March this pitch is not available.
Shared pitches are for guests booking together, if you book this pitch as a single unit it will not be shared with another booking.
Suitable for up to 5 units depending on their size, please check sizing and ensure your units plus cars can fit in the pitch, cars must be counted as a unit in this case. I.e.;
- 5 campervans and no additional cars would be suitable.
- 5 large tents and cars would not be suitable.
The size of the pitch is for the entirety of the pitch, therefore if sharing the above sizing must fit both units on it and your units must be at least 3m apart.
There may not be room for awnings and communal gazebos when shared, please check sizing and rules.
Swan Bay & the River Front Premium Pitch are reserved primarily for groups. Single unit bookings are only possible if this pitch is still available within 30 days of a proposed arrival date.
