Those staying on site are welcome to launch free of charge but please be conscious to give way to our boat hirers on site when launching. If you are not staying on site you can book a Park & Launch slot for the listed launch fee for the time of year - please note this is subject to availability.
You can find a river map here. But a team member will be happy to give you directions.

Fishing is allowed but we are not particularly set up for it. You may fish off any of our banks but not from the wooden jetty or launching areas. Please ensure you clean up after yourself and act responsibly.
Be aware fishing is not allowed in the area 15th March - 16th June and you must have a fishing licence.
We are a pet friendly site. Well behaved dogs on leads are most welcome to stay with us at no extra cost and are also welcome to join you on a trip on a boat with us.
If you are part way through your booking and do not have time to complete the booking you may come back and think that your required pitch has been snapped up by someone else in the meantime. In fact, what is likely to have happened is that your booking has been held in a "basket" for you to complete. Click on "reserved pitch(es)" at the top left hand conrner of the website to complete your booking.
In our canoes you sit on a "bench" with your legs below you as apposed to sitting ontop of our kayaks with your legs out infront of you. Canoes are paddled with a one ended paddle, alternating on either side of the boat whereas kayaks are paddled with one double ended paddle. It is likely that you will get more wet in a kayak from the drips from the paddle in comparison to the canoe. The canoes are more "tippy" than the kayaks.
We do not have WiFi across the site but most networks supply very good 3G/4G in the area. If you do require WiFi it can be accessed outside of The Boat Shed area free of charge, just ask a team member for the password.
