Cancellation & Booking Changes

How to cancel or amend your booking

All cancellations and requests to change a booking must be made in writing by email or WhatsApp.

Cancellations made by telephone will not be accepted as confirmation of cancellation. Until written confirmation is received, your booking remains active and you remain liable for any amounts due under this policy.

Your non-refundable deposit

A non-refundable deposit is taken at the time of booking.

If you cancel your booking at any time after it has been made, this deposit will not be refunded or transferred, unless Three Rivers agrees otherwise at its sole discretion.

Cancellations more than 14 days before arrival

If you cancel more than 14 days before your arrival date, you will lose your non-refundable deposit. No further payment will normally be due.

If you would prefer to move your booking to another date, we may consider this subject to availability and at the Site Manager’s discretion. A £15 administration fee will apply to any approved change of dates.

Cancellations within 14 days of arrival

If you cancel within 14 days of your arrival date, you will lose your non-refundable deposit and the remaining balance of your booking will still be payable.

If we are able to re-book your cancelled pitch(es), we may, at our discretion, allow the amount recovered through the re-booking to be transferred as credit towards a future stay, less a £15 administration fee.

Any credit or reduction will only apply to the value we are able to recover by re-booking the cancelled pitch(es). We cannot guarantee that a cancelled pitch will be re-booked or at the same value.

Changes to bookings

Requests to change dates, pitches or other booking details are not guaranteed.

Where we agree to an amendment, it will be subject to availability, the circumstances of the request and the discretion of the Site Manager. A £15 administration fee will apply to approved booking amendments.

Any difference in price resulting from the change will also be payable.

Early departure

If you choose to leave the site early for any reason, no refund, credit or transfer will be given for unused nights or services.

Weather

Camping and outdoor activities are weather-dependent by nature. Three Rivers is not responsible for poor or unsuitable weather.

Cancellations, early departures or decisions not to travel because of rain, wind, temperature, forecasts or other weather conditions will not entitle you to a refund or transfer, and any outstanding balance will remain payable in accordance with this policy.

Please consider this carefully before booking and ensure you have appropriate travel insurance if you would like protection against circumstances that may prevent you from travelling.

If Three Rivers cancels your booking

In the unlikely event that Three Rivers has to cancel your booking, we will offer either:

a full refund of the amount you have paid; or where available, an alternative booking of a comparable standard. If an alternative is more expensive, you will be informed of any additional cost before accepting it. If it is cheaper, the difference will be refunded.

Our liability for a cancellation made by Three Rivers will be limited to the amounts paid to us for the affected booking, except where the law requires otherwise.

Events outside anyone’s control

Where your booking cannot go ahead because of exceptional circumstances outside the reasonable control of both you and Three Rivers — for example, certain natural disasters, government restrictions or similar events — we will deal with the booking in accordance with applicable law.

Where appropriate, we may offer alternative dates or booking credit rather than cancellation, depending on the circumstances at the time.

By making a booking with Three Rivers, you confirm that you have read and accepted this Cancellation & Booking Changes Policy.

We strongly recommend taking out suitable travel insurance to cover cancellation, illness, adverse weather and other circumstances that may prevent you from using your booking.
